Luxury Apartments on the Kawarau River

Architectural construction of 2 x 4 bedroom apartments on a prime section overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the Kawarau River. As adjoining apartments, a large fire wall was built running the full length between.

Cantilevered balconies create the sense of being close to the waters edge and make the most of the restricted size section. Cedar wrapped soffits with negative detailing create interest and contrast.

Upstairs, a “liveable roof” was created to create outdoor living space with unrivalled views across the water and surrounding mountains. This was engineered to also allow a spa pool to be sited here for each apartment.
